The intake form
If you fill in the form on our contact page, we receive your name, your email address, your organisation and your website. We also see what kind of organisation it is, which topics you tick, when you'd like to start and your explanation.
What for? To assess your request, get in touch with you and, where relevant, prepare a proposal.
Why are we allowed to? You ask us to do something before there is a contract. We also have a legitimate interest in replying to questions.
Where does it go? The form is built with Elementor Pro in our WordPress website. Your submission is stored in WordPress and sent to us by email. That email goes through the mail server of our host, Hostinger.
How long? We keep your submission for at most 24 months. After that it is deleted automatically. If it leads to a project, the section on working together below applies as well.
The newsletter
If you sign up through the form at the bottom of our pages, we keep your email address. We only use it to send you our newsletter now and then.
Why are we allowed to? Because you give your consent. You can withdraw it at any time.
Where does it go? Your sign-up is stored in our WordPress website, with Elementor Pro. We send the newsletter ourselves from info@tridim.nl, through Hostinger's mail. We don't use an external mailing service.
How long? For at most 24 months. After that your sign-up is deleted automatically. You can unsubscribe at any time: reply to the newsletter or email info@tridim.nl. We then delete your address sooner.
Email contact and working together
If you email us, or we work together, we keep your name, your contact details and the agreements we make.
What for? To stay in touch, carry out the work and send invoices.
Why are we allowed to? To perform the contract, and because the law requires us to keep accounts.
How long? For as long as we work together. Data we have to keep for the tax authorities, we keep for as long as the law requires.
Website statistics with Google Analytics
Google Analytics shows us how visitors use the site. For example, which pages they view and how they found us.
We only load Google Analytics if you give your consent in our cookie banner. Without consent, we don't load it. Google Signals and advertising features are switched off. So we don't use the statistics for advertising.
Why are we allowed to? Based on your consent. You can withdraw it at any time through Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. We then delete the Google Analytics cookies from your browser.
How long? Google keeps this data for at most 14 months.
Security and spam
We protect the site and its forms against misuse.
- On the contact page, Google reCAPTCHA checks whether you're a person. It loads there before you make a cookie choice, because it protects the form against spam. Google receives data such as your IP address and data about your browser and how you use the page. If a submission looks like it comes from a bot, it may be blocked.
- A hidden field in the forms catches spam bots. It doesn't process anything extra.
- The Wordfence security plugin protects the website against attacks. To do that, Wordfence processes visitors' IP addresses and keeps track of suspicious requests.
Why are we allowed to? We have a legitimate interest in a secure website without spam.
Hosting and server logs
The website is hosted by Hostinger. Like any web server, it records technical data such as your IP address, the time and the page you request. That's needed to show the site and fix problems.
The LiteSpeed Cache plugin keeps copies of pages so the site loads quickly. It doesn't need any data about you to do that.
How long? Hostinger keeps server logs briefly, for security and to find faults. They aren't used for anything else.
Who we share data with
We don't sell your data. We only share it with parties that help us run the website and our work.
- Hostinger, for hosting the website, the server logs and the mail of the forms and the newsletter.
- Google, for Google Analytics (only with your consent) and for reCAPTCHA on the contact page.
- Defiant, the maker of Wordfence, for security.
With each party that processes data on our behalf, we have agreed processing terms, usually through their standard data processing terms. If the law requires us to share data, we do.
Data outside the European Union
Google and Defiant are American companies. Your data may therefore be processed in the United States. This happens under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
How we protect your data
The website uses an encrypted connection. A firewall (Wordfence) stops attacks. Only the people who need it for their work have access to the website's administration.
Your rights
You have these rights.
- To see your data.
- To have incorrect data corrected.
- To have your data deleted.
- To have the use of your data restricted.
- To object to use based on our legitimate interest.
- To receive your data in a common file format.
- To withdraw your consent.
Send your request to info@tridim.nl. We'll reply within a month.
Not happy with how we handle your data? Please let us know. You can also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Automated decisions
We don't make decisions about you that are taken by a computer alone. The automatic checks by reCAPTCHA and Wordfence are only there to stop spam and attacks.
Cookies
You can read which cookies we use in our cookie policy.
